Technical Supervisor (Rigging & Installations)

About the role

Unity Arena, Norway's largest indoor multi-purpose venue for concerts, sport, events and shows, is looking for a person who can take technical responsibility for the building. The role covers rigging, safety and technical installations, and is based in Fornebu.

Key responsibilities

• Take technical responsibility for the arena's installations and rigging
• Plan and ensure safe rigging and technical operation
• Cooperate with production and suppliers
• Act as health and safety officer on the technical side
• Contribute to improving the facilities and routines

Required profile

• Experience in technical operations, stage/arena or similar
• Valid rigging certificate and good understanding of health and safety
• Technical aptitude and ability to lead and collaborate
• Reliable, structured and takes ownership of the facility
• Precise but keeps an overview of the whole picture
