About the role

We are looking for an on‑call substitute (Tilkallingsvikar) to join our kindergarten team and help children feel valued and develop through play and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations align with Læringsverkstedet’s values and quality standards.
• Build equal, respectful relationships with children, listening and encouraging participation.
• Support pedagogical activities such as group sessions, free play, routines, and collaborations with parents.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Required profile

• Relational, attentive to each child’s needs and able to communicate with diverse families.
• Solution‑oriented, flexible, collaborative and able to work independently with responsibility.
• Warm, caring adult who embraces play, ambition, generosity and clarity.
• Identifies with Læringsverkstedet’s values.

Required skills

• Experience working with people or in a similar role.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to ensure safety for children.
• Good written and spoken Norwegian.
• Knowledge of cooking with children is a plus.
• Police clearance required before start.
