Barnehagelærer – vikariat 100 % i Stord

About the role

The Learning Workshop Sæ kindergarten is looking for a qualified kindergarten teacher for a 100 % temporary position starting 15 December 2026. You will work with 100‑110 children across seven groups, using the surrounding nature and community as an active part of daily learning.

Key responsibilities

• Be a clear, safe and warm adult for the children daily.
• Plan, implement and evaluate pedagogical activities in line with the national framework.
• Follow up individual children and groups.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and guardians.
• Contribute to a positive work environment and professional development.
• Act as substitute when the pedagogical leader is absent.

Required profile

• Relationship‑oriented, attentive to each child’s needs.
• Warm, respectful and caring adult presence.
• Strong professional ambition and a big heart for early childhood work.
• Solution‑oriented, flexible and collaborative.
• Good communication with diverse families and ability to handle a busy kindergarten day.

Required qualifications

• Approved kindergarten teacher education or equivalent recognized by the Norwegian Directorate for Education.
• Clear police clearance before start.
• Fluent Norwegian, both written and spoken.
