Frokostservitør – 80% stilling

About the role

Thon Hotel Astoria is looking for a breakfast server for a permanent 80% position. Breakfast is served daily until 11:00, starting at 06:30 on weekdays and 07:30 on weekends. The role reports to the breakfast manager and the start date is as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Serve and clear tables in the breakfast hall.
• Pour coffee and serve energy shots at guests' tables.
• Create a pleasant atmosphere and deliver top‑class service.
• Assist with dishwashing and kitchen support.
• Prepare and set up the breakfast area for the next day.
• Handle various incidental tasks as needed.
• Maintain the buffet, refilling food and drinks regularly.

Required profile

• Desire to contribute to excellent guest experiences.
• Motivation to create good workdays for colleagues.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Service‑ and quality‑focused with adaptability.
• Relevant experience in hospitality or food service.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Norwegian, written and spoken.
