About the role

Thon Hotel Linne is looking for a waiter for an extra‑help (on‑call) position in its restaurant. Working hours vary between day and evening shifts, and the restaurant operates from 05:00 to 22:30 on weekdays with shorter hours on weekends and holidays. The role reports to the Restaurant Manager and is ideal for candidates with à la carte experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute bar and restaurant service.
• Serve course and conference lunches, à la carte meals, and banquet dinners.
• Create a pleasant atmosphere for guests and deliver top‑level service.
• Handle various routine tasks in the restaurant and bar.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in service‑oriented roles.
• Strong focus on service quality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced work environment.
• High work capacity, adaptability, and initiative.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.
• Must be at least 20 years old due to alcohol service regulations.
