IT Service Worker – 7-Month Assignment in Ålesund

About the role

A client of the recruiter is looking for an IT service worker for a seven-month assignment in Ålesund. The client is a larger company with its own IT operations, and you will join a local service team of four people. The work is practical and user-centred: you handle equipment from arrival until it is ready for the user, and you are the first point of contact when something does not work.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, prepare and place IT equipment such as PCs, phones, printers and peripherals.
• Support, troubleshoot and maintain existing IT equipment.
• Provide user support and guidance on using IT and shared services equipment.
• Cooperate with the local service team on daily operations.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in IT service, or a vocational qualification or degree in IT service.
• Spoken and written Norwegian.
• Structured, reliable and able to finish what you start.
• Good service attitude and clear communication with non-technical users.
• Available to start on 1 December.
