About the role

The position is for an experienced audit manager responsible for overseeing accounting audits and simplified compliance checks for a range of municipal clients. You will work closely with a team of auditors and provide expert advice to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Quality‑assure accounting audits, compliance checks and audit reports.
• Collaborate with and report to a team of executing auditors.
• Present audit results to control committees and advise clients.
• Drive internal competence development and contribute to audit methodology.

Required profile

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Motivates and inspires both staff and clients.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate theory into practice.
• Structured, self‑driven, responsible and strong collaboration skills.
• Service‑oriented with a valid driver’s licence (class B).

• Descarte (paperless IT solution).
• IDEA (audit data analysis tool).
• Therefore (case and archive system).
