Project Manager Water Treatment and Sustainability

About the role

Veolia, Norway's water technology expert, is looking for an experienced project manager in Sandefjord to lead large projects and deliver sustainable solutions for future water treatment. The role combines technical expertise with solid project management and leadership, within a growing department that works closely with colleagues in Denmark and the rest of Veolia.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver projects from start to finish in close dialogue with customers, partners and the project team
• Lead the project team and motivate collaboration towards common goals
• Plan and manage technical design, production and installation
• Monitor project economics, contracts, quality and risk management
• Take part in construction meetings and technical discussions to ensure optimal solutions
• Maintain good relationships with all project stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in process or mechanical engineering
• 5-8 years of experience in consulting, contractor or construction projects, preferably in water and wastewater treatment, aquaculture or large infrastructure
• Experience leading complex projects
• Good negotiation and communication skills in Norwegian and English
