Site Manager – Advanced Water Treatment Plants

About the role

Veolia is looking for a Site Manager for advanced water treatment plants in Sandefjord. The role is central to the implementation phase of complex projects in drinking water and wastewater treatment, supporting the project manager on technical follow-up of solutions, interfaces and progress, and ensuring installation and commissioning meet design, specifications and quality requirements. It involves close cooperation with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, suppliers and public clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission all technical areas
• Coordinate internal and external contractors, suppliers and other contract holders on site
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality and HSE
• Follow up progress, interfaces and deviations and report to the project manager
• Facilitate good technical dialogue with municipalities and other clients
• Contribute to best practice and continuous improvement

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical or civil)
• Experience in technical follow-up, site coordination or commissioning of process plants
• Good understanding of quality, HSE and interface management
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation, drawings and P&ID
• Experience in joint ventures or similar collaboration models is an advantage
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
