Strategy Business Analyst (VIE)

About the role

Nord Pool, part of the Euronext Group, is looking for a Strategy and Business Analyst (VIE) to join its Strategy and Products department in Oslo, starting in January 2027. The post reports to the Chief Strategy Officer and focuses on market analysis, competitive monitoring and strategic reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out market analysis to identify opportunities and customer needs, using desktop research, client meetings and attendance at selected conferences
• Monitor the competitive landscape of services and products, run screening analyses to identify business targets and ensure departmental reporting
• Produce high-quality materials such as spreadsheets and presentation slides to communicate results, conclusions and suggested actions
• Take part in regular meetings with other departments, partners and the Euronext group to ensure alignment
• Analyse business performance, identify improvements and propose actionable solutions
• Take part in strategy process updates, M&A processes and meetings with potential partners

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, computer science or a related field
• At least one successful internship or work experience in the energy industry, strategy consulting or a fast-growing business
• Fluent English
• Solid interest in energy economics, power markets and energy in general
• Excellent planning, organisational, problem-solving, time management and communication skills
• Fast learner, proactive and entrepreneurial, able to multitask according to priorities

• Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
