About the role

The Institute of Business Administration at OsloMet is seeking a senior academic leader to steer a rapidly growing business school. The position combines top‑level academic and administrative responsibility for education, research, development, communication, financial management and HR.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the institute’s strategic planning, curriculum renewal and research agenda in line with societal needs.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting and human‑resource matters for the institute.
• Represent the institute in the dean’s leadership group and contribute to faculty‑wide development.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (or equivalent) with proven experience in teaching, research and development.
• Leadership experience in an academic or research environment.
• Strong understanding of financial management and personnel leadership.
• Excellent oral and written communication in Norwegian (or another Scandinavian language) and English.
