Subsea Supervisor

About the role

Performs IBWM maintenance and repair of all subsea BOP and riser systems, Multiplex electro‑hydraulic control systems, and associated surface equipment. Monitors the operating condition of Subsea Well Control Equipment (WCE) and reports any deficiencies to the supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and pressure‑test Blow Out Preventers (BOP), diverters and related subsea equipment in line with AIM guidelines.
• Direct deck and drill crews during the running, recovery and installation of BOP and marine riser packages.
• Operate, maintain and repair Multiplex electro‑hydraulic control systems and hydraulic connectors.
• Service bridge cranes, hoisting equipment and ensure proper tensioning of riser pipe systems.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, inspection records and spare‑parts inventories for subsea equipment.

Required profile

• High school diploma; 2‑year technical/trade degree required, 4‑year engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Assistant Subsea on an active rig, including 1 year with a Multiplex system.
• Valid medical examination, vaccination certificates and, for Norway, qualifications complying with Havtil regulations.
• Successful military discharge preferred (U.S.).
