Consultant – Procurement (Bang & Partners)

About the role

Bang & Partners is a brand-new procurement consultancy founded and led by Thor Bang-Ellingsen, who spent over 13 years building Prokura, a Nordic procurement consultancy acquired by Kearney. As one of the first consultants, you will help lay the foundation of the firm while doing real client work from day one, working alongside senior practitioners. The firm is designed as a partner-track venture, with every member on a genuine equity journey toward co-ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Drive analysis across procurement engagements (spend, categories, sourcing and negotiation) and turn it into client-ready recommendations
• Build the fact base and structured problem solving, using modern tooling and AI to work faster and sharper
• Contribute in client workshops and stakeholder discussions
• Own workstreams end-to-end, with a senior practitioner alongside you
• Help build the firm's methods, offerings, ways of working and culture

Required profile

• Master's degree with a strong academic record (economics, engineering, business or a related field)
• 1-3 years of relevant experience, mainly from a leading consulting firm (procurement or strategy), or standout consulting internship experience
• Fluent in Norwegian and English
• Openness to supply chain profiles, which the firm plans to grow
