Finance and Administration Director – FFO

About the role

FFO, Norway's largest umbrella organisation for people with disabilities, long-term illness and their relatives, is looking for a new finance and administration director. You will report directly to the general secretary and strengthen FFO's work in finance, leadership, HR and administration systems, including its important international work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage three employees in the administration department and develop the HR function and personnel systems
• Run and develop FFO's accounting and bookkeeping functions, including budgeting, financial reporting and cooperation with the auditor
• Handle applications for operating funds and follow up on established grant schemes
• Manage surplus liquidity together with an external custodian
• Oversee the personnel handbook, collective agreements, salary negotiations, pension and insurance schemes
• Prepare and quality-check FFO's contracts and agreements, and ensure suitable IT systems
• Own the international aid portfolio and liaise with external partners

Required profile

• Higher education in economics, organisation and management
• Experience in economic analysis, budgeting and accounting, and leadership including personnel management
• Project experience at a high level and cross-functional organisational experience
• Good written and spoken communication, and experience in idealistic-sector work is an advantage
• Structured, analytical and result-oriented, with strong execution ability
