Project Manager – Procurement Consultancy

About the role

Bang & Partners is a new procurement consultancy founded and led by Thor Bang-Ellingsen, who spent 13 years building Prokura, a Nordic procurement consultancy acquired by Kearney. As a Project Manager you own the client relationship and the result end-to-end, lead engagement teams and run the day-to-day relationship with senior stakeholders, taking accountability for impact that lands in the P&L. It is an associate-partner-track role from the start, with a genuine equity journey toward co-ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Own engagements end-to-end: scope, plan, team, delivery and the client relationship
• Lead and coach engagement teams, setting a high bar for quality and pace
• Manage senior client stakeholders and keep the work anchored to measurable impact
• Turn analysis into decisions clients act on, with AI woven into how the team works
• Contribute to business development: proposals, scoping and growing existing accounts
• Help build the firm: offerings, delivery methods, ways of working and the next generation of consultants

Required profile

• Master's degree with a strong academic record (e.g. economics, engineering, business or a related field)
• Around 4-7 years of relevant experience, mainly or wholly from a leading consulting firm, including project/engagement leadership in procurement
• Track record of leading teams and owning senior client relationships
• Fluent in Norwegian and English
• Openness to strong supply chain profiles, as the firm plans to grow that area

• Commercial instinct and the beginnings of a business-development track record
• High ownership mindset and drive to build something new
• Quick adoption of AI tools and willingness to help shape them
