Electrical Team Leader – Rockwool Moss

About the role

ROCKWOOL is looking for an electrical team leader for its stone wool factory in Moss. You will lead the electrical team within the maintenance department, plan and follow up preventive and corrective electrical maintenance, develop the team and help production equipment run safely and stably. You report to the head of maintenance and work closely with production and other maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prioritise and follow up preventive and corrective electrical maintenance
• Lead daily stand-up meetings and distribute tasks with the head of maintenance
• Follow up employees, sick leave, training and competence development, and take part in recruitment
• Ensure work is done safely according to regulations and internal procedures
• Handle faults on control systems and follow up the plant's technical condition
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, spare parts routines and calibration of measuring instruments
• Contribute to technical solutions, procurement and cost estimates, and follow up suppliers
• Lead improvement projects and cooperate centrally on IT and network issues

Required profile

• Relevant trade qualification in electrical engineering and/or automation
• Experience with electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in industry
• Knowledge of industrial control systems and systematic maintenance work
• Good Norwegian, spoken and written
• Technical college or further education is an advantage; experience leading or coordinating a specialist team is also valued
