Experienced Water and Sewerage Engineer – Ski, Sarpsborg and Askim

About the role

Norconsult is looking for experienced water and sewerage professionals to strengthen its VA team in Østfold and Follo. You will join the largest consulting group for water, sewerage and technical infrastructure in Norway, with about 300 people covering all areas needed for planning and designing complete water and sewerage systems. At Norconsult Askim, Sarpsborg and Ski there are about 50 employees, including 10 full-time staff in the VA department working closely with the other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead single-discipline and multidisciplinary assignments
• Act as the responsible engineer for water and sewerage in various projects and contribute to sustainable solutions
• Take part in preliminary studies, master plans and VA framework plans
• Design sewer and stormwater pipe networks, including tender documents
• Follow up during construction
• Contribute to marketing and bidding processes

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree with normally at least 7 years of experience
• Good experience designing sewer and stormwater networks and/or early-stage projects
• Comfortable acting as responsible engineer on multidisciplinary design assignments
• Independent, creative and positive, with good collaboration and relationship-building skills
• Able to share knowledge both in writing and verbally
