Junior Civil Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

Norconsult, a leading Nordic engineering consultancy, is looking for newly graduated engineers and civil engineers to join its main office environment in Sandvika, Lysaker, Oslo and Drammen. You will work on projects ranging from buildings, bridges and tunnels to ports, industry, energy and hydropower, with close support from experienced colleagues and gradual responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design, calculation, analysis and dimensioning of structures
• Modelling and BIM in multidisciplinary projects
• Condition assessment, rehabilitation and strengthening of existing structures
• Preparing descriptions, specifications and tender documents
• Cooperating with clients, contractors and other professionals from design through site follow-up

Required profile

• Master's or bachelor's degree in construction, civil engineering or related fields, or currently completing it
• Interest in statics, construction and digital workflows such as analysis, dimensioning and BIM
• Curious, eager to learn and motivated by professional development
• Good Norwegian, written and spoken
