Part‑time Receptionist – Hotel Front Desk

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable receptionist to join our team at Thon Hotel Tromsø on a permanent part‑time basis (20% of full‑time hours). The role includes regular shifts as well as additional coverage during the busy summer and holiday periods.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, and handle reservations.
• Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel services.
• Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Work a rotating schedule that includes day, evening, every third weekend, and holiday shifts (including Christmas and New Year).

Required profile

• Enjoy delivering top‑level service and creating a positive guest experience.
• Motivated, team‑oriented, and able to work flexible hours.
• Comfortable interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Willingness to take on extra duties during peak seasons.
