About the role

Thon Hotel Oslofjord is looking for enthusiastic receptionists to join its front‑desk team on a part‑time basis (20‑80% of full time). You will work in a dynamic conference hotel serving guests from early morning until late evening, following a rotating shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and check‑in guests efficiently and with a friendly attitude.
• Handle phone calls, reservations and inquiries using the hotel’s booking system.
• Provide information about hotel services, local attractions and conference facilities.
• Process payments, issue invoices and manage cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.

Required profile

• Strong service orientation and ability to go the extra mile for guests.
• Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English.
• Flexibility to work shifts from 07:00‑15:00 and 15:00‑23:00, including every other weekend.
• Reliability and willingness to adapt to schedule changes due to illness or holidays.
