Senior Developer – .NET and C# (Digitalization and Architecture)

About the role

The joint AFP scheme, which delivers early retirement (AFP) services in the private sector, strengthens its internal development environment and is looking for senior developers with solid .NET and C# expertise. You will help modernize the organization's own core system, work closely with experienced developers and follow solutions from development through ongoing maintenance. The Digitalization and Architecture department has about 10–12 technical resources and works with clear priorities and regular planning sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend solutions in .NET and C#
• Develop and maintain integrations and APIs
• Contribute to frontend development during core system modernization
• Keep architecture principles in mind and build robust, secure and flexible solutions
• Identify and handle vulnerabilities and technical risks
• Work on improvements, bug fixes and troubleshooting in day-to-day operations
• Collaborate with developers and specialist teams on solutions that meet business needs

Required profile

• At least five years of relevant experience in system development
• Good understanding of data models and practical database experience
• Experience building security into applications from the start
• Good spoken and written Norwegian; Norwegian is the working language
• Higher education, preferably in information technology, is an advantage but not required
• Work permit in Norway is required; background checks may be carried out

Required skills

• Solid practical .NET and C# skills
• Advantageous: experience with business systems, integrations, cloud and on-premise environments, agile development and DevOps
• Positive: experience with AI-assisted development
