Venture Scout – Part-time Investment Sourcing

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Venture Scout to join the CVX Venture Scout Programme. In this part-time role you will help source attractive investment opportunities for our fast-growing European venture fund and gain hands‑on experience in the VC ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Identify promising startups within your specialist field and initiate conversations with founders.
• Conduct thorough research on target companies, including team, market dynamics and competitive landscape.
• Prepare a concise 1‑2 page investment memo summarising your thesis and findings.
• Present your memo to the CVX Investment Team, either in‑person or online.

Required profile

• Strong passion for sourcing investments and supporting entrepreneurial growth.
• Desire to develop VC skills and potentially progress to a role on the CVX Investment Team.
