Byggeleder – ansvar for gjenoppbygging i Tana

About the role

Recover is looking for an experienced carpenter to take on expanded responsibilities as a site manager (byggeleder) in its Tana office. You will work within a leading Nordic specialist in damage mitigation and rebuilding, handling a variety of projects that restore homes after fire, water or environmental incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site carpentry work while overseeing the entire project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections, produce detailed reports and manage health‑, safety‑ and environment (HMS) compliance.
• Coordinate project planning, customer communication and follow‑up for assigned assignments.
• Assess damage extent, develop repair strategies and ensure timely restoration for clients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality workmanship.

Required profile

• Carpenter journeyman certificate (Fagbrev/Svennebrev).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant carpentry or construction experience.
• Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet as a work tool.
• Fluent in written and spoken Norwegian/Scandinavian.
• Valid driver’s licence category B (preferably BE).
• Positive, service‑oriented attitude, independent, organized and able to handle a fast‑paced environment.
